I work with a small number of families each year to help them navigate the college admissions process. Through working with me and my team, you will gain a deeper understanding of the college admissions process and learn how to put your best foot forward.

Before I met Pam, I didn’t have much direction on how to strengthen my application. After the first meeting, she gave me a clear path to follow. She helped me solidify my academic and extracurricular activities to build a cohesive theme that helped the colleges really see who I was and why I was a good candidate for admission. She believed in me throughout the process and made me feel so proud of all I had accomplished at the end. I think her specialty is creatively thinking about the best essays. My admissions officers told me they were some of the best they read!

ongoing consulting & editing

Grades 9 and 10

After the initial consultation, we meet as frequently as needed to discuss academic progress, standardized test timing and preparation, letters of recommendation, extracurricular interests and accomplishments, and summer plans

Grade 11 and 12

Junior year we really begin to focus our work on refining your story/building out your candidacy and making sure you have a strong set of extracurriculars and academics before entering the admissions cycle. We also work to ensure your summer plans continue building upon your story.

Senior year, we focus our work on identifying essay topics and helping students to find their own voice and to craft essays that are uniquely their own. Most of our communication during the fall of senior year takes place online or by telephone as we revise multiple drafts; we schedule face-to-face meetings as appropriate to discuss interview strategies, logistics and timing of multiple applications, early action and early decision programs, and other special circumstances as they arise.
