My secret dream school was Harvard, so Pam helped me develop a plan early in my junior year. She really helped me to bring out my story, and I spent the year focusing on taking classes and doing things I really loved. I think I was a lot less stressed about the whole process because she helped me figure out which activities were important and which ones weren't. She inspired me to make an impact in my community that I don't think I would have had the nerve to do on my own. Beyond Harvard, I didn't have the heart to apply to other schools, so I feel so lucky that I got into my dream school.  Unlike other services, she stays with you throughout the entire process, up until you select the school you want to attend. I am so grateful I met her.

Applying to college can be a very dehumanizing process: you can feel as if you’re reduced to numbers, stats, and grades. But what set Pam apart is that she never made me feel like just another applicant or name in a file; she took the time to get to really know me and found all these extremely creative and insightful ways to represent me in my application in a way that I felt was authentic and made me proud.

She also went out to bat for me and kept me on track (not a small feat, because I was juggling so much going into senior year) throughout the essay writing process. She took the time to explain to me the philosophy behind certain essay questions, and I felt that by the end, she hadn’t just taught me how to be a better writer, but had changed my way of analyzing and thinking about issues. I felt that I had developed as a whole person through working with her. I am so grateful to have landed at UPenn, which was my first choice and a great fit for me, and that Pam has remained my mentor even throughout my undergraduate years.

Pam helped me not only with my college applications but mentored me through all my science fairs throughout the years we worked together. Ultimately, with her keen eye, scientific intuition and experience, I was awarded the George Yancopoulos Innovator Award at ISEF ($75,000) and have been selected as one of the Top 40 Regeneron STS scholars (top award $250,000). I have been admitted to all my dream schools including MIT, Harvard and Stanford!

I didn't think I had a shot at applying to Stanford, but it has always been my dream school. Pam helped me to craft my narrative and her team was amazing in reflecting all my nuances in my essays. She has become a household name, and during the application cycle, it was common to hear around our house: "What would Pam say?" She's the BEST.

I think the best way to summarize my experience working with Pam is a moment from senior spring, when my friends and I were comparing college results. My friends were riffing on me, and asked how I had gotten so smart throughout the years. As a freshman, I wasn’t at the top of my class, but started working with Pam. It was a complete shock and turnaround moment for me when someone like her (who is so smart and accomplished) valued what I had to say. It really boosted my confidence to know that someone believed in me and could see beyond my grades. Over the years, our weekly check-ins completely changed the way I parsed and thought about the issues I was encountering, from readings in class, to discussions with friends, or paper I wrote. Now, I always hear her voice in my head before I open my mouth to make a contribution in class - she urged me to become a more precise, thoughtful thinker and the papers I wrote and contributions in-class became more nuanced and persuasive. My teachers, and apparently my friends, began to notice it too.

I started working with Pam in 9th grade, but I wish I had started sooner. Everything she touched turned to gold. She suggested really unique, specific activities that were perfect for me - this is one of her many strengths. She is so creative and has fantastic ideas for how to pursue your interests that were completely different than what my peers were doing. These activities ultimately brought me so much joy and growth over the years. Her personalized approach and keen insight made all the difference.

I ended up getting likely letters from Columbia, Yale, but ultimately chose Stanford, and I owe that all to her. I never thought getting into these colleges would be a reality. She helped me find and highlight the spark in my personality, and my writing became more engaging, authentic, and memorable, with endings that stood out. Working with her was a game-changer.

My son was very nervous applying to colleges as he had a rocky start freshman year and found it difficult to regain his footing, so his GPA wasn't the best. When we met Pam, she helped him develop his extracurricular profile—I really think this is her zone of genius—she was fantastic at figuring out creative ways to have community impact and showcase his intellectual vitality. I am so proud of who he evolved into with her guidance, and the essays were so beautiful. She’s a top-notch writing coach.

I am beyond excited to share that I have been admitted to Harvard, Stanford, and MIT this year, and I owe a significant part of this success to Pam, my incredible college counselor. Initially, I tackled the early round of applications on my own and faced the disappointment of being deferred at Yale. However, everything changed once I started working with Pam.

From the moment we began our daily sessions, the approach was exceptionally personalized and specific. She took the time to understand my unique strengths, experiences, and helped me see multiple angles to my application, helping me craft essays that truly stood out. Each detail was meticulously refined, from my Activity List to every aspect of my story, which was highlighted in a way that felt authentic and compelling.

The difference in my application was palpable. Pam’s wealth of knowledge, expertise and dedication transformed my essays and brought clarity to my overall presentation. This guidance was not just about meeting deadlines or checking boxes; it was about finding and expressing my true voice.

Without this targeted, one-on-one support, I doubt I would have achieved such incredible results. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering commitment (she often stayed up until 3am editing my work!) and insightful advice that made my dream a reality. For anyone aiming for the very best colleges, having such a dedicated, strategic, and skilled counselor is invaluable.
