It all started when…
Dr. Pamela Ng's career spans a variety of roles in admissions and higher education at several institutions, including Stanford and Harvard. At Stanford, she was a former member of the Admissions Committee for both Undergraduate, and high school summer programs, including Pre-Collegiate Studies and High School Summer College since 2013.
Pam obtained her BA at Harvard, M.S at Georgetown and PhD in Neuroscience and Psychiatry at Stanford. She also completed her Postdoctoral work in the Dept of Anesthesia and Pain Management at Stanford and taught as Clinical Faculty in the Dept of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences as well. She has been teaching and mentoring high school students for the past decade in various capacities both in the lab and classroom and looks forward to mentoring STEM and humanities students.
She has also served on the Admissions Committee interviewing medical students for Stanford Medical School and PsyD programs for the Dept of Psychiatry at Stanford.
When not thinking about all things college admissions, Pam spends as much time as possible outdoors climbing, hiking and thinking about how to get to more climbing.
She is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and the Independent Educational Consultants Association and abides by its Code of Ethics
